Directions from Bordeaux Airport

(or from south of Bordeaux eg Biarritz, Spain etc)

When you leave the airport complex you will come to a first roundabout where you should take Rocade (ring road) which will lead you to a second roundabout and you will follow direction Paris putting you onto the A10 motorway heading north. You will cross the Aquitaine suspension bridge and later the Dordogne bridge before leaving the A10 on the Blaye exit. If you are travelling north from Spain or Toulouse you should also take the Rocade and follow signs for Paris but you will cross the François Mitterand bridge instead of the Pont d'Aquitaine. When you leave the motorway you will come to a large roundabout where you should follow direction Blaye putting you onto the N137. Stay on this road and ignore any further signs for Blaye. You will pass through the villages of Pugnac, Le Pontet, Etauliers and St Aubin de Blaye. After you have left St Aubin you will see a service area for motor homes on your left. Continue and you will come to a small restaurant on the left called Le 137. About one and a half kilometres after the restaurant there is a Renault/Elf garage with car wash on the right  and directly opposite a small road where a stone house with blue shutters marks the corner. Take this small road and follow it to the end where you will arrive opposite the property 4, Chez Néron, St Palais. If you miss this turning then continue a few metres and take the St Palais sign on your left to leave the N137 and you will arrive in the hamlet of Chez Néron. Take your first left, go a little way down the hill and N° 4 is on your right.

Directions from motorway A10 Paris/Bordeaux

(or  N137 from St Malo, Nantes, Vendée etc)

Leave motorway at Mirambeau (if you have chosen to travel on the N137 you will automatically find yourself on the right road) and follow direction Bordeaux which will put you onto the N137. Go through Mirambeau, Petit Niort and Pleine Selve. About 2kms after Pleine Selve you will see a sign on your right for St Palais where you should exit. Take the first on your left and the property is on the right.

Shopping

If you travel north from Bordeaux you will pass a hypermarket Leclerc Grand Tour which is just before the Dordogne bridge and a supermarket Intermarché as you are leaving Etauliers. Both close at 19h30 and Intermarché is closed at lunchtime.

If you are travelling south from the channel ports you will pass a large supermarket on your right (Super U) in Mirambeau which is open over lunchtime and closes at 19h30. This supermarket is also open on Sunday mornings during July and August.

If you have a problem or are considerably earlier or later than your estimated arrival time please do not hesitate to phone on 00 33 5 57 32 66 37 or on 00 33 6 82 90 91 11.
